When the solution is applied you immediately see your skin is a darker color. This is only a cosmetic bronzer you are seeing that gives a guide for the artist, and the client an instant appearance of a tan. The actual Spray Tan (the DHA) begins to develop in 1 hour, and will be noticeable after you rinse off the initial bronzer. It may take up to 12 hours to fully darken, and 24 hours for the tan to fully set. Even once you rinse the bronzer off at your designated time, the DHA will still darken up
Mobile sunless tanning is not only healthy, UV free, and safer than sunbathing. It also hides blemishes, stretch marks, veins, cellulite and other skin imperfections. Better results in minutes instead of hours! There is also no need to arrange for a babysitter. The elements on a hot day (sweat) rain, or snow can ruin a spray tan. Since we come to you, you can avoid these possibilities and ensure the best results for your spray.
We arrive at your home, office, or hotel room and take about 5 minutes to set up the tent and equipment. This can be done in the most open area of the space. Bathrooms are typical, but we can use the living room, kitchen, garage, bedroom, anywhere with enough space with access to a outlet (and preferably a sink, but not required) The spray itself takes about 10-20 minutes. The tent is designed to catch any overspray so there will be no mess. The entire process takes between 25-45 minutes.
Dihydroxyacetone or DHA is the ingredient in sunless tans that creates the appearance of a tan for 7-10 days. DHA is a simple sugar that when exposed to the amino acids in the outermost layer of the skin, causes a reaction similar to when a cut apple turns brown.
With proper aftercare, your sunless tan will last on average of 7 days, but with the right moisturizers and diligent care, it can last up to 10 days. As your skin begins to naturally exfoliate, your tan will lighten up as well.
Our Policy is 24 hours. However... We get it, life happens. If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment no worries. Just let us know at your earliest convenience. If this is a recurring event, we may charge and collect the deposit for cancellations under 2 hours.
We travel 15 miles in any direction from Park City Hospital. We charge .50/mile after that. (For example PC Hospital to Downtown SLC is 31 miles, so there would be a $8 fee added to your total) Keep this in mind if you are booking in Heber or the Valley.
This is a very common question. Sunless tans turn orange when there is too much solution applied, too high of a concentration applied, and/or left on for too long (longer than 24 hours) We try to be conservative with our first time clients, and gradually build up to darker tans to ensure their skin type can handle more solution if they wish to be extra dark.
NO, Sunless tans do not protect you from the sun. Always use sunscreen. Although you may not see your skin getting burned under your tan, you are still susceptible to UV damage.
Keep it safe. Keep it Sunless.
Lotion based sunscreens are the best. Try to find one that does not contain alcohol or mineral oil.
If you are sleeping in the solution overnight, we recommend wearing long sleeves and pants. We also recommend using a dark pillowcase. This solution will rinse out of most fabrics, but there are no guarantees it 100% will come out.
We recommend waiting 12 hours for light workouts, and up to 24 hours if you tend to sweat a lot. Never workout before your first rinse.
You can use soap on your first rinse if you've waited at least 8 hours. Start and continue using lotion after your first rinse.
YES!... but I would limit your time, especially in chlorinated pools and hot tubs. These are the steps we recommend when you want to get your tan off.
Yes! For my breastfeeding mamas out there, I recommend wearing a bathing suit top or pasties (I can provide them). If you need to feed before your rinse time, make sure to wipe off any tanner where you baby's mouth or cheek may come into contact. Once the solution has been rinsed off you are free to feed as normal.
We recommend getting sprayed two days before a special event. For example, if you are attending a wedding on a Saturday, getting sprayed on Thursday will allow enough time for two showers so any excess bronzer will be removed by then.
Reach out to us ASAP! If it was a few hours after your appointment, you will most likely be fine when you rinse. If there are visible smudges after you rinse, reach out to us and we can troubleshoot, and possibly schedule a touch up.
We recommend wearing loose, dark clothing. If you are letting your tan develop over night we suggest long pants and sleeves to avoid skin to skin contact.
Grab some toothpaste and baking soda and mix it together. Scrub it on the area you want to lighten up as many times as necessary to achieve desired results.
