-Shower, exfoliate, and do any desired hair removal. Do NOT use a moisturizing soap or body wash (especially Dove) before you tan. Use either a non-moisturizing translucent body wash, or bar soap like Ivory or Dial.
-Shave at least 8 hours before your appointment. If you tan too soon after shaving, your pores are wide open and you may get little dots on your legs! It's best to shower more than 3 hours before your appointment.
-Skin should be clean and dry before being sprayed. Don't apply moisturizers, oils, perfume, or makeup before your tanning appointment, as they can effect tan development.
-Please schedule any massage appointments for at least 48 hours before your appointment to ensure the oils do not create a barrier to the tanning solution.
-Don't use any anti-aging products like Retin-A on your skin for 2-3 days before your appointment.
We will spray you in a portable tan booth, so please make enough room for our spray tan technician to set up. We also need direct access to a wall outlet to plug in our machine and a sink for cleaning up. We have sprayed clients in bathrooms, SHOWERS, basements, garages, outside decks, & spare rooms. Please choose a room that you are comfortable with and that has a clearance for our tent, which is 6 feet high. Please also be aware that our machine can be loud so choose an area that won't be an interference in your home.
During the spray tan your can wear a bikini, one piece suit, or your birthday suit. It depends on your comfort level or preference. We recommend a dark swim suit or underwear you are comfortable getting a tad dirty. We also offer disposable panties/bras for women. Tan lines or no tan lines, that is the question!
Our technicians have seen it ALL and always remain professional!
Men, sorry but you must keep your trunks on.
